Really awesome course, changed the way I look at ECGs. Thank you!
Extremely good facilitators – excellent knowledge, way of communicating information, constructive, feedback. Having learnt ECG interpretation in ‘traditional’ way with rate, rhythm, axis, I thought that the HEARTS approach is more clinically relevant, considers pathology/pathophysiology & more appropriate for working in clinical environment.
Jesse was my facilitator – he made the learning environment comfortable and engaging, to really set in this new method. He was so easy to learn from. His patience and genuine desire to teach ECG’s in a simple and methodical way was conducted with passion. Highly recommend his instruction and this course. Thank you!
Maz. He was an amazing instructor. Really cared about the students and teaching the subject. He spoke clearly and gave good explanations. Patient with the students. Couldn’t ask for more.
The approach itself is the strongest component which I can use systematically moving forward. I enjoyed the small group approach through zoom, this was effective
The course was very good at teaching each aspect in a progressive and confidence inspiring manner and it seemed everyone was able it put it together well.
Enormous educational value. The material was appropriate for advanced and experienced prehospital providers, touching on in-hospital concepts and pathways where relevant. Facilitators had clear expertise and some understanding of what differences the prehospital setting may introduce. Facilitator was entirely approachable, and met each learner at their individual learning level, walking us through difficult concepts while also challenging us.
The small group + breakout rooms were great, it allowed for more interactivity between instructor & learner. The focus on case studies was also great as it allowed room for lots of practice, and to receive immediate feedback from the instructor.
I really really enjoy the HEARTS approach, and the opportunity to practice it many many times – I noticed myself getting more comfortable with ECG interpretation with every subsequent attempt!
Honestly, the best ECG teaching I’ve ever had. I finally understand why rather than trying to memorize things
